THE CHARACTER FULL NAME: Lois Joanne Lane SERIES/FANDOM: Smallville AGE: 28 GENDER: Female SPECIES: Human SEXUALITY: Heterosexual ALIGNMENT: Good PERSONALITY: Outspoken is the first word that anyone that knows Lois would use to describe her. The second one is stubborn. While Lois is both of these things, there's more to her than the outspoken, stubborn, forward woman that most people see. The first thing to know about Lois is that she doesn't take any shit from anyone. Period. The daughter of an army general, Lois's upbringing has turned her into a persistant, head strong woman with a bit of an impulsive side. Lois doesn't "beat around the bush" when telling someone what's on her mind, or how she feels, and she loathes when people won't give her a straight up answer. As an investigative journalist, Lois is extremely dedicated to her job, and will do anything to get her scoop, even if it means putting herself at risk. She's dressed as a stripper, a french maid, a prison guard, and a couple of other things to get that byline. The only thing that Lois has put over her own career as been her support of the heroes the Blur and the Green Arrow, as she as downright refused to expose their identities to the public. Underneath her tough exterior, Lois hides many insecurities. She is always constantly seeking the approval of her father, something that she believes that she has never really earned. She also blames herself for the trouble that her younger sister, Lucy, has gotten into over the years. She's also called herself a screw-up on more than one occasion, and admitted to hindering a situation more than helping. Lois has a bad habit of talking without thinking. She tends to speak the first words that come out of her mouth, and sometimes, she comes off as a little insensitive because of it, though she does truly feel regretful if she says something that hurts someone's feelings. Despite her blunt nature and tough appearance, Lois cares deeply for her friends and family, and will do anything for them. She cares about her cousin Chloe like a little sister, and is very protective of her. And even though she pokes fun at him often, Lois cares deeply for Clark Kent, and believes in him. When it comes to romance, Lois is wary to let men get to close to her, having been hurt by them before. There have been a couple of occasions, where's opened herself up and let herself fall in love, like when she was with Oliver Queen. For the most part, Lois often engages in strictly casual dating, not letting it get too far unless both parties seem to be looking for more than just a good time. All in all, Lois is a very passionate woman. There is no obstacle too great, no hurdle too tall for Lois to face when it comes her achieving her goals, rather it be getting that headline in the Daily Planet, getting the guy, or protecting one of her family or friends. ABILITIES: In addition to being a damn good reporter, Lois is skilled in hand to hand combat. WEAKNESSES: Lois is only human. CANON POINT: Beginning of season eight. I don't share bylines." Age: 26 Personality: The first thing that most people notice about Lois is that she's forward. A general's daughter and a former "army brat", Lois doesn't take any bullshit from anybody, and won't stop until she gets the answers she wants. While Lois may come off as many things, pushy, bossy, and rude being the most dominant three, she is steadfastly loyal to her friends and loved ones. Lois can't stand dishonesty or underhanded tactics, and has a way for weaseling them out in people. Extremely stubborn, Lois has been known to get herself into some pretty dangerous situations, especially when it comes to trying to get that byline for the front page of the Daily Planet. Ask anyone and they'll tell you that Lois is a passionate, intense person, even if she comes off a little too strong. Having been jilted in relationships a couple of times, Lois is more looking out for fun than something serious, though when she falls, she falls hard and she falls fast. Lois is steadfastly loyal to those she loves, though she excepts complete and total honesty from both sides. History: Do they choose to take the medicine?: If yes, what power do they gain?: (Please be within reason.) **Also, note that if they had powers before, they will either be enhanced, completely changed, or nullified by the medicine while it's being taken. If no, why?: Lois has never felt that she's needed powers, feeling that she's a strong person on her own. If offered to her, she wouldn't take the medicine based on that. She feels that she doesn't need it, and Lois trusts her instinct more than anything. Residence: Small, one-bedroom apartment.
